Khalil Gibran's excellent lines about parents and children

Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them,
but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.

You are the bows from which your children
as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
and He bends you with His might
that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let our bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies,
so He loves also the bow that is stable.

EERAM

hi guys..well its been long since i penned something in this blog..this time a tamil movie makes me to talk about it..EERAM
yes i watch this movie recently..first shankar should b appreciated for his bold, new ventures and he is the one who believes in the script of the movie he is producing.
eeram is a gud thiller in tamil after long time.
well the movie starts wid sucide of ramya(sindhu menon) in her apartment, the reason for her sucide is said to be adultery, the neighborhood of ramya and the apartment mates too confirmed it and her husband balakrishna (nandha) too believes it.police officer vasudevan(aathi) starts the enquiry initially the police concludes the case as a ordinay sucide, but the things got changes as some more deaths takes place in the same apartment in a strange manner.the police officer vasu got some gut feeling about ramya's death and start the new enquiry about her death.
the movie travels back to ramya's early days, actually ramya and vasudevan were lovers and they broke up.in duecourse the strange death of the people in that apartment continues and to solve the mystery the police officer vasudevan himself shifted to the apartment.he found the uniqueness in all the deaths--WATER.
yes WATER is the main reason for all the deaths.the sprit of ramya tries to communicate wid vasu through her sister divya (sharnaya mohan) and tell him the reason for her death.then the climax is how vasu gets the murderer by havin no evidence except ramya's sprit.
when it comes to performance everyone did their part very well.aathi has the potential to became a gud actor. nandha turns out as a gud actor he can do variety of roles.saranya mohan and srinath are utilised well and both r proved as a gud supporting actors.sindhu menon delivered her best performance.
technically also the film is gud.the camera work is just splendid they maintained the wetness through out the movie and the color of the film is jus awesome.the next main thing is special effects u can feel the hollywood effect but in some scenes it reminds us the final destination but its gud and new to tamil cinema.the another important factor is background score
thaman did his best in it.the one gud thing about this movie is the duration of the songs are less than 4 min, which tries to keep the momentum of the film even though the film seems to b slaggish in the middle but it becoms racy towards the end.overall it is a gud thiller movie..and a must watch thing..dont miss it..

hi there!!! well this time yet another amir movie makes me to write about it.. yep "jaane tu.... ya jaane na" really this is an awesome movie...first amir has to be appreciated for taking this script. The screenplay style is similar to the tamil movie "azhagiya theeyae" but this movie stands for its own.this movie got simple storyline.A gang of friends..imran and geniliya are good friends..but the parents take their friendship in diff angle and they want imran to marry genelia(really gr8 parents ;))then both imran and genelia got shocked by their parents decision, both imran and genelia decided to search ideal match for each other..and they got theirs..both r busy with their girl\boy but it wont workout for both and imran and genelia broke up with their gal/boy friend now they feel the real love between each other and ususal smooth climax..there is nothin spl in this story..but they way they protraited the story is amazing..there is no single dull moment in this movie and each frame is fulled with fun.when comes to casting imran and genelia are perfect and both gives their best...on a whole its an amazing movie one can really enjoy it.

GREAT INSPIRATIONS-I "Ernesto 'Che' Guevara"

Ernesto "Che" Guevara (May 14, 1928 – October 9, 1967), commonly known as Che Guevara, El Che, or simply Che, was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, politician, author, physician, military theorist, and guerrilla leader. His stylized image also later became an ubiquitous counter cultural symbol worldwide.
As a young medical student, Guevara travelled throughout Latin America and was transformed by the endemic poverty he witnessed. His experiences and observations during these trips led him to conclude that the region's ingrained economic inequalities were an intrinsic result of monopoly capitalism, neo-colonialism, and imperialism, with the only remedy being world revolution. This belief prompted his involvement in Guatemala's social reforms under President Jacobo Arbenz, whose eventual CIA-assisted overthrow solidified Guevara’s radical ideology.
Later, in Mexico, he joined and was promoted to commander in Fidel Castro’s 26th of July Movement, playing a pivotal role in the successful guerrilla campaign to overthrow the U.S.-backed Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. After the Cuban revolution, Guevara served in many prominent governmental positions, including president of the national bank, minister of industry, and “supreme prosecutor” over the revolutionary tribunals and executions of suspected war criminals from the previous regime. Along with traversing the globe to meet an array of world leaders on behalf of Cuban socialism, he was a prolific writer and diarist. One of his most prominent published works includes a manual on the theory and practice of guerrilla warfare. Guevara left Cuba in 1965 to incite revolutions first in an unsuccessful attempt in Congo-Kinshasa and then in Bolivia, where he was captured with help of the CIA and executed.
Both notorious for his harsh discipline and revered for his unwavering dedication to his revolutionary doctrines, Guevara remains an admired, controversial, and significant historical figure. As a result of his death and romantic visage, along with his invocation to armed class struggle and desire to create the consciousness of a "new man" driven by "moral" rather than "material" incentives,Guevara evolved into a quintessential icon of leftist inspired movements, as well as a global merchandising sensation. He has been venerated and reviled in a multitude of biographies, memoirs, books, essays, documentaries, songs, and films. Time Magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century, while an Alberto Korda photograph of him entitled Guerrillero Heroico (the photograph, which you are seeing by side),was declared "the most famous photograph in the world."
